In the Asian session on Wednesday, affected by the announcement of a major trade agreement with Japan, global risk sentiment improved, and gold prices fell from highs, ending the three consecutive days of rising market. The agreement involves the opening of the market in the fields of automobiles, rice and agricultural products, and sets a 15% reciprocal tariff, so the market risk preference has rebounded.
According to market research, a precious metals analyst pointed out: "Gold is facing the dual pressure of a rebound in risk sentiment and a strengthening of the US dollar in the short term, but fundamentals still provide long-term support for it."

If economic data fails to strengthen market confidence in global recovery, gold still has a chance to rebound.
